Great advise, Steve! I’ve been checking your videos for a while now and your approach seems somewhat similar to that of the late Mike ‘Mr. Heavy Duty’ Mentzer. Have you ever heard of him and if so, what’s your opinion about Heavy Duty, High-Intensity Training (HIT)? Thanks in advance and keep up the great work!

It’s so crazy I have a question in my head and want a straight answer and BOOM you make a video like the next day about it. It’s like you’re reading out minds! AhahhHhHh

Geez you are a monster for that age.. lol play some football

I pretty much agree with this. Most of the dudes in the gym I see have a lot of muscle, but they also have a lot of fat. They look like big muscular blobs to me. I think it’d be pretty easy for most of them to lose a lot of body fat without losing muscle.

well the faster the better right an i wont grow much longer :)

Steve is it true that muscles actually work to burn excess fat?

  • fcuk9000

im pretty active and i box and i do cardio at home and stuff pretty intense and i weigh 175 to 180 pounds is 1500 calories to much for me to eat or to less if im trying to get down to 165 pounds

the more muscle you have, the more calories your body will naturally burn throughout your day

  • mikec933

you can do both it will just take a long time, much easier and quicker to do the good ol bulk then cut

i’m pretty slim, is it true that a skinny person has to lift really heavy weight to gain muscle?

  • BodyPerformanceTV

No. Any type of working out will begin the muscle growth process.

Just wanted to ask something. Ive been running, round my local park now, for about 2weeks, Monday-Friday, but i still have this kind of, body Fat, around my stomach. Its kind of, elactic, i can pull it, and you can see it all. When i stand up, its pretty straight, but when i sit down, its a diferent story. Help me! Cheers.

Thanks so much for this inspiriation, Steve. Everytime I watch your videos I learn something new. I’m gonna check your website now! Marion :)

I am new to working out too… Anyways, what you want to do is replace that fat with muscle by toning it… Crunches, situps, other ab exercises will tighten it up. If you lose enough fat AND do this, you will get a six pack. Best ab workout I know and I do is Ab Ripper X from P90X workout, Its expensive, or your can just follow people doing it on youtube, Search Ab Ripper X- Good luck!

    cheers mate.

2 weeks is just not enough my friend, you need more time its a mater of months, and dont forget that a proper diet is as important as excerciseing.

I’m glad. It’s a pleasure to help people better understand what they need to do to achieve their goals.

Thanks a lot steve, I’ve been training for jut over a year now and I’ve seen great results. I’ve never been fat, always been slim but I wanted to do some work on my abs. Since watching your videos and clearing a few myths I’ve heard I’m having great success thanks. Good to see someone else has my frame of mind about the sport
