The weights hanging from the ceiling, what exercise is that? Also as a serious question what supplementation are you on? Protein and multivitamins I feel are the only necessary ones but are you taking anything besides that?

  • AltimaX

I have a question, do you do a warm up chest exercise before you go on to the superset that you do on this video?

  • ftpvk

Scooby, I was wondering which exercises target the inner chest the best, so there is some definition and seperation. I suspect that the narrow grip presses and perhaps “diamond pushups” are the ones. Am I right?

Im very strong I can bench 315 and when I go 2 the gym I can lift as much or more then the really big guys, but Im not buff or cut at all. Im just a normal looking guy with little muscle definition, is it genetics or do I need thoes weird pills and drinks from GNC. And does all that stuff really work???

  • LegendOfJomtein

    Same here bro.

I started weight lifting just doing bench press. my chest and back got huge but then i couldnt get past a certain point because i had never worked out my arms. i worked out my arms and now i look more evened out

check his website, he only uses a certain protein powder that is all natural ingredients.

It’s been my experience that they do but your triceps will be taking a lot of the work. When doing the narrow grip presses it helps to squeeze your pecs after you get the weight up.

it actually took me around 5-6 months to see results in my chest

OMG I can’t believe how much you do with the flys! I do like 20lbs in each hand!

I got a question for you and sorry if it’s not directly related to the video. When you bench, are you supposed to let the bar go down until it hits your chest. This is the way I do it, but my friend and I were having the argument and he claims the bottom half is “basically all shoulder” and that it will cause an injury. How come not everyone Ive seen is injured then! What is your technique, and I understand injuries ar important to watch out for but keep in mind youcan get injured playing chess.

    1:09 – hilarious!

i got my chest in 2 months, they’re not big ol pecs but they’re like little bricks :)

  • lemonshank

hey scooby, what do you think of the “little known colorado experiment”?

  • fadedfutures

Well, his chest is pretty huge.

  • ManOfMeans

Where can I find more information on the dumbell fly “thumbs up?” I tried that after watching this video and found that I am severely lacking in this area, as opposed to “palms up.” Does this work a different area on the chest?????
    Thank you, Scooby!

Hey Scoob what’s your opinion about olympic style weightlifting? I found it to be extremly beneficial as combination of squats, raises, deadlifts and lunges. There is also a lot of cardio going on when you do them.

  • CrypticParadox

Well, I won’t play chess with you! It’s true everything we do carries a risk, but you have to weigh that against potential benefits. IMO there’s not much to be gained from an extra couple of inches ROM compared to an increased risk of shoulder injury. I was taught the bar should stay a few inches above the chest, this also stops resting or bouncing and encourages better control, but I’m no expert on shoulder biomechanics. Remember people survive Russian Roulette, doesn’t mean it’s safe ;)

    he has a wierd chest
