Elbow Tendonitis Exercises

www.LeeHayward.com The root cause of elbow tendonitis (ie tennis elbow, golfers elbow) is a muscle imbalance in your forearms. The forearm flexors muscles are often over worked compared to the forearm extensors muscles.

    hey lee, thnx for the exercise,
    btw do handgrippers tone your forearms too?
    and if my right arm’s bicep is stonger than my left, how many extra sets should i do on my left arm’ bicep to make them balanced?
    thnx

    I got these 2 years ago. I purchased 200, 250 and 300 combo. This stuff is really great for the forearms (you will get big forearms for sure) but I had a problem with tearing skin when using these.

  • freakmmusic

    that’s really helpful!
    Thanks a lot Lee!

    i like to use elastic bands around the fingers and i just open and close them, adding another band every week or two, and its easier then getting a tub and filling it with sand, plus you can take it anywheres

    A good substitute for sand would be water. In the case that you don’t live by the beach, playground, or have sand readily available.

    what about shoulder tendinitis

  • avistetto

    Cheers dude, I’m 18 and started going to the gym at the end of last year, and a few months in encountered a bit of tendonitis especially when doing barbell curls and couldn’t stop it coming back after resting from bicep exercises for a week and eventually stopped doing barbell curls but will definitely try this and see how it works xD. Your videos are really great by the way especially for beginners.

    @k0d14k1 just go get some gravel it’s about 40 bucks for half a ton so you’ll get 20 pounds for a few cents

  • murphy0847

    @44871umair just do dumbells and start with your weaker hand i.e. concentration curls

    Innovative as usual! I am so glad that I bought your DVD’s and sub’d to this channel. Thanks for all you do to help us. I was just about to toss my whey tub out, but now I am going to use it for some good. I also recommend the HeavyGrips Hand Grippers. They are high-quality and a great value. Thanks, Lee!

    @44871umair
    Yes, hand grippers will build up your forearms as well. If you have an imbalance between your left and right sides, you can do another set or two for your weaker side at the end of your workout.

    @jiggaluv123
    You can wrap electrical tape around the handle that your fingers slide against to help reduce the friction and prevent tearing the skin off your fingers.
