I lost 6 pounds but its so hard to loose weight especially when you are in your 30s I eat healthy foods and in small portions and do cardio and weights for 3 hours a day and I still dont get the results I should
if you do high intensity interval training, the pounds will fly off. no matter how old you are.
try it. and do it seriously for 1 month and i guarantee you’ll lose more weight that this low impact stuff.
don’t get me wrong low impact is great for beginners, but even a beginner can do high intensity interval training and see faster results.
I’m a beginner at working out and i needed something like this to get me started. It works everything, though some I can’t do well because I have bad knees. But for the most part I really enjoyed it even though my hand-eye coordination isn’t all that great! lol
yeah bad knees or bad back you’ll really want a low impact work out. check out my video of the explanation of high intesity interval training and i go over how to apply it using low impact: watch?v=lkoMX0jOQ70&feature=channel_page . I swear by it.
But yes, make sure you do low impact. If you have knee pain or back pain make sure you protect your joints.
I wish i could see like 5 minutes of his routine to better judge this. I think i’ll go to the website and see.
It was great. I got the DVD for Christmas but didn’t get a chance to try it out until I got back to school yesterday. lol. When he has you do this walking thing with your legs and he goes down a couple of inches, I just don’t go down too far ’cause my knees literally creak. lol! <_< But I definately can do most of the other exercises – I just need better hand-eye coordination! lol!

Might wanna try a stretching program. It not only stretches your muscles, but builds the muscle too. I’m not trying to pry or anything, just concerned you’re so young and have bad knees.
Thanks. But I brought it upon myself. When I was younger I could never sit indian style, you know, cross-legged. So I sat in the opposite direction, thus screwing up my knees. I am 23, but I’ve lived with it since middle school.
