Lee if you have a chopstick you can poke it into the tub and prod around for the scooper
Lee, I thought cooking (heating) whey protein reduced it’s effectiveness? Something about changing its structure??
lee, what do you have for your pre-training meal? i always have about 20-30 grams of whey protein and a bannana about half hour before i hit the gym, this ok?
no syrup??
@DickKnowsBest hey man, i know a guy but hes in toronto. not sure where u live.
@TNT905 I live in Auckland, New Zealand. It’s like Toronto, Canada. Look at some pics on google images, similar type of city. Anyway, I’m on the other side of the world, literally.
@RAPMONSTAR
You obviously didn’t watch the full video…
@domhan123
Yeah, that’s good. You could even have it a full hour before hitting the gym. I personally like to give my food time to digest before training.
@demarco767
We cook our food all the time. Just think about it, have you ever cooked beef, chicken, eggs, fish, etc. I’m assuming you have, and if so were you worried that you wouldn’t get your protein from it?
No doubt cooking changes things to some degree, but you are still getting the protein from your food. If you didn’t then there would be an awful lot of protein deprived people in the world.
@DickKnowsBest
I just did a quick search on bodybuilding [dot] com and you can get 10 pounds of Optimum Whey for $80 and get it shipped via Global DHL for $50. So if you crunch the numbers that works out to less then $29 per kilo of protein powder (shipping included).
@leemhayward Works out about $200 NZD for 5 (4.5) kilo’s. Not bad considering the price of whey over here!. Thx.
@leemhayward Will it taste more like an egg omlet?
Nice, I definitely will pick up a butter spray cause I love the light taste of butter on my pancakes. The sugar free maple syrup, I’ll have to try hard to find and it will be helpful for my diet since I’m trying to keep my sugar intake to a minimal.
@DickKnowsBest i would think it proably go bad before you can consume it
@leemhayward was just beigned funny . personally probably use some fruits on top or low cal fruit syrup, or just shake up thick protein shake and smuther it on top .. mhhmm yummi!!
@TNT905 No I am not a newbie however I use unflavoured whey which if you have ever tasted, tastes something bad. I cannot even smell the shaker even after a wash without the smell killing me. Wondered if there was some miracle way Lee knew about keeping the thing smelling a bit fresher. Might get a metal one.
awesome vid man really pro chef lol martha stewart boom hehe jk jk =]
lee hayward you beast
@BrokenBrilliance well there really isnt any way of getting the smell out. hot water with soup is the obvious solution and im sure u tried that. metal shakers arent good for shakes because u cant measure how much liquid ur consuming. if the smell is that bad then just wash it and discard it for a few days then rotate with another shaker.
@TNT905 Yeah I tried soap, lemon juice, washing up liquid etc. I don’t worry to much about the fluid intake because I always have it with water. I have some casein protein and a new shaker arriving in….. 1 hour. Think I’ll just stick to that shaker and keep the shit smelling for my islolate and the new for compound isolate/concentrate and the casein
now that is a protein shack =) lol he or someone trying this should drink it.
you are the best leemhayward
nice recipe, thanks!
Lee, when are you going to learn? You gotta crack those eggs SLOW, then when you’re shaking you gotta emphasize the PEAK CONTRACTION! Haha…thanks for the tips. Never occurred to me to put the ingredients in a shaker and just pour it on the skillet. Will give it a try! Thanks!
So you don’t need pancake mix?
Awesomeness!
