The fast-digesting carbs are good for after exercise though, when your body is in need of the glycogen it lost.

Gatorade,Powerade, etc are good for this.

6 eggs with vanilla drink powder or one of those nesquick powder shakes, then add Cinnamon, cloves, cashews, yogurt, milk. and mix it up.

yes well done mate! cos thats the only thing they do ent it! you mug!

  • albinator03

actually you shouldn’t drink gatorade while working out.

  • mbelma6329

  • whiteout130

Quick question. It’s hard to keep abs the lower abs the most i’ve been working out for awhile now and im seeing results but im not taking any protein and i dont want to start getting into supplements what is an easy at home protein i can make? that wont make me get fat but give me just enough to put some extra size on my arms etc.

  • lmr947

Yup, looks like everyone else said it for me. Simple carbs are great post-workout.

  • thezippomanipulater

    eggs

  • budspotz

    Do some research lol
You should be slamming protein every 3hours. Eggs are good but ya wanna turf the yokes out & they aint full of protein so yould want atleast 8 in one serving

i am new at this, but i want to gain muscle and get abs, can somebody give me some advice, where should i start and what will work for me? please help, i’m in desperate need of this

First off, find out what weight you are and look up an online workout plan for your specific weight range. That’s probably the most important thing. You don’t want to tear your muscles doing things you can’t handle just yet.

  • lilvietjay

how do i do that ? im 150 pounds and im 14, can you tell me where to find that lmao

tuna: 2 servings per can 13 grams of protein per serving.

  • S0nArch

eat 5-6meals a day, with protein in each meal. eat 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight. egg whites are good sources of protein although u will need quite a few. (eggs without yolks) fish is good for protein, i like to eat cans of tuna. 1 can of drained tuna gives me 34.1g protein. of course whey protein is also good protein, although you should get some casein which is a slow digesting protein to feed your muscles throughout the day.

  • S0nArch

don’t consume 6-7 scoops a day of whey protein. you need to get most of your protein from real food sources like eggs, dairy and meats. Whey protein is just a fast digesting protein to supplement your diet. you need casein because whey stops supporting muscle growth in as little as 2 hours after ingestion. so it is fast digesting which has to do with the chemistry of the animo acid groups they have in the mix.

  • S0nArch

so if you want good benefit from whey protein get it in when you have DOMS and right after your workout when your muscles are most receptive. take too much at once and you’ll piss it all away but in the right amounts you can get it any time and benefit. you need it right away.
