    Lee, what do your recommend to bring out/develop your upper mid chest, mine’s flat there? Thanks man.

  • DrmrGuy1979

    @lassekkk Oh yes, another subject matter expert. The internet is at max capacity with those. Post some videos and spread some positivity, instead of what you just attempted to do.

  • knewok

    @hurrykaneecko 2 100LB dumbells

    @rammajamma1993
    I wouldn’t recommend it, do one or the other. If you do too many pressing exercises in a single workout you’ll just burn out.

    @mm34rider
    If you really want to test your one rep max do it every 3 months. For the most part maxing out is only testing your strength, not building it.

    @DICTATExTHExPACE
    What did I do to make you think that I don’t care?
    If I really didn’t care do you think I would keep posting up these videos on a regular basis and that I would take the time to reply to comments like yours?

    @lassekkk YEA what LEE said you fucking DUMBASS, why would it take less stress off the chest, that makes no sense, it take ALOT of stress off the shoulders and puts it more on the tris, try for urself and you’ll see.

  • iluvfatchx

    thats not completely true lee because all i have is DB so i only do DP presses and my right pec is bigger and more better shaped than my left even though i can lift both the same weight with either pec, why is this and how can i fix it?

  • iluvfatchx

    @DICTATExTHExPACE i dont give a flying fuck about my subbers, cause i dont ask anybody to subb yet they do on their own and i dont know why cause i dont have shit on my channel but stupid vids.

    @leemhayward i dont think he meant that in a wrong way. i think he meant to say that as if like ur not like other you tubers beggin ppl to subscribe. we all thank you for your greats vids tho man.

    the function of the chest is the push the arms forward and across the body…the flat bench works against this movement…which is why flat bench is a completely stupid exercise for bodybuilders…extremely effective for power athletes but when it comes to actually increasing the size of the muscle “hypertrophy” its dumb…dumbbells are more of a staple flat barbell bench is more of a shock exercise.

    lee, i noticed you told one of the people who posted a comment here that too many presses in a single exercise would cause a burn out? well then isn’t the chest a large muscle group, so i’m sure 3 more sets of dumbbell presses after a bench wouldn’t hurt right, especially considering the chest is a major muscle and i’m kinda having some weak areas in my chest.

    i’m always mixing up my routine, but sometimes it’d be like, bench, incline, flat dumbbells and ending off with some flyes.

    Since i dont have the money to get a barbell, or to get gym membership, i can only go school gym and my home gym which i only have dumbells. The main exercises i do are backpack pushups (with weights inside i.e bottles filled with water, i know its cheap but meh) and dumbells. Im guessing a pushup is very similar almost exact like a barbell press so is it ok if i do those two? They seem similar.

  • mm34rider

    @leemhayward okay thank you for the response =]. and yea my strength/conditioning coach at school just has us test every 9 weeks after a training cycle of 8 weeks because of the quarters of the school year. so that’s where i got that from. He does power lifting but i’m pretty sure he was just working around the school schedule. would you suggest switching up other workouts as well to improve my over-all total body performance and muscle building potential?

  • brokenstrings24

    Thanks for all the videos Lee!

  • flaminfireboy

    damn lee i just starting do this before i saw this video also i hear you should do dumbbell flys before you do dumbbell presses so it attacks the chest harder would you say this is true?
