it’s not olympic level. it’s “proper-level”. everybody should train properly. If you can’t squat 185 lbs, don’t do tip-toe quarter-squats. do them properly with whatever weight you can and work your way up. that’s my only beef…with the posers like bugred who thinks he knows but has no clue.

Yeah, real low squat is freaking harder than normal squat. When ur reach the under 90 degree level, and u go kiss the ground with ur butt, thats a fking great squat, but too me it takes good form and practice.

this keg training looks pretty sweet but if you squat low can’t you damage your knees pretty bad? not knocking the video im just wandering
Not if you do it right. When you do squats imagine that you are sitting back in a chair. Push your rearend back and sit down. If your knees are going forward and moving side to side, then yes they could cause you problems. Not if you are using the correct form though.

I work in a bar and ussually do the kegs alone (about 77kg) and they are pretty light but I damn well dont toss them around like that.
