Hi, Just like to say that you are a good role model for people. And I have learnt a lot from your videos, so thank you.
My question is that I am a 20 year old man, and weigh 10 stones, how much should i be lifting on a barbell. I currently lift 35lbs, how much do you reckon i should do? And what Routine?
    Thank You

  • BazBlog

Thank you that is a great compliment. I love helping others and my business cards say “helping people live their dreams”. The amount you lift is depending on how strong you are and no one should advise on how much someone else should lift. I will send you some info on how I do it. Baz

Thanks for the great comment. I normally do 12 reps warm up and then reduce the reps by 2 and increase the weight till i really struggle when I get to 6 reps. Then I reduce the weight a bit and go to failure and most times that is about 12 reps. 1 minute rest between sets. I hope that helps. If you want more info give me a shout. Baz

how do u get the bicep round?BTW, awesum vid it was rilly helpful

  • BazBlog

Thanks for the compliment. A lot has to do with your muscle make up but normal bicep curls will give you a great overall bicep workout and a fairly round looking bicep. Baz.

thanks for that.. wat about if i have a sore wrist.. its been sore for like 2 months and 2 weeks now.. but bareable n its gettin better.. any ideas to train but not irritate it?

  • BazBlog

Pleasure. With any injury have it medically checked out. I would strap it up before training and avoid any exercise where it allows the wrist to move. Keep it fixed as you train. Baz

Thank you. Weights does not effect how tall you will be. That depends on you own genes and make up. Using weights too early can effect the normal development of the bones. It is best to start using weights around 17. Eat really well and you will have a great body with some good training. Baz

I would always follow the Drs advice but I have found a few experiments of my own have often found the answer. Never train if it is too sore than it is telling you something. A Dr once told me you can train within a reasonalbe pain limit as your body will tell you if it is too much. If you try a few things that do not help then have a good rest like a few weeks and start again slowly. Baz
