Marion’s P90X Workout – Bicep curls (Day 58, Round 1)
Today’s Shoulders & Arms routine was pretty strenuous. The last of this routine lay five weeks ago due to the reason of the changing schedule (“Muscle Confusion”). This time I tried harder and only used the 8 kg dumbbells for every bicep exercise. Later I realized that my muscles seem confused…hehe. It was hard, but I made it! And I really got surprised that in some exercises I felt I could lift even more. For example the here shown Full Supination Concentration Curls. I’ve done a set with …

I’m working out a little more as the P90X schedule specifies.
5 days a week, 60-100 min;
1 day Taekwondo 210 min;
1 day stretching 60 min.

Mainly I’m doing the classic routine but with some extra cardio. Instead of Yoga X I train Taekwondo for 3 1/2 hours, and on saturday I’m doing Kenpo X twice in a row. In the weight lifting workouts I always take the heaviest weights to do 10-15 reps.
you take breaks during the weight training? or you do them without stopping?
There are breaks, but mostly very short ones (about ten seconds, depending on the routine).
i just do sets of 20 with each arm, while im pumping my right arm my left is resting…do like 3 or 4 sets.
Love to see you flex those big guns you’re working so hard to build.
Is there a website for this P90X workout? I wanna try it, i’m a slender person and need to get more fit =(

by that you must mean the heaviest weights you have, cos i do 8 to 10 with 18 kg on most curls
Hello, keep up the good work. You have a great body. Did you have a muscular body before you started the P90X workout? I can not believe that you built that body in 58 days.
Hi…I had a slender and quite sporty shape all my life. Before P90X I was pretty trained but surely not that ripped as I am now (or even on day 45). Doing this workout has really begun to transform my body. Before I started P90X I didn’t believe for myself that somebody can’t get ripped in just 90 days. Until now I know (and see) that my body HAS changed. I don’t know how far this change will go, but I’m training very hard to get the best results until I reach day 90. Try it and see!

Are you saying you can do 40+ nonstop curls with 12Kg? Wow! Please post a video of that! With a close up of what your arm looks like when it fails at the end! Your arms are looking so good!

Thanks so much! No, I surely can’t do 40 curls with 12 kg. For one week now I’m on 10 kg. If I get stronger I will use the 12 kg dumbbells and go for 8-10 reps.
