yea but when he talks about losing wieght, he means fat, u lost sum muscle my friend, that not good, 1 pound of muscle is 40 extra calories a day, unless ur really big like 275 plus, then ur body naturally burns more calories

Hi Steve,
I recently came across a latest research on calorie deficit which concluded that a person’s fat stores can provide 31 calories of energy per pound of body fat every day before the body breaks down muscles for energy.
Hence, a person who weighs 300 pounds with 45% of body fat can create a max caloric deficit of 4,185 calories in a day without compromising any muscle mass.
However, its recommended that the food intake shouldn’t be taken down below 1200 calories per day to ensure one receieves adequate nutrition. Is this true? If so this will majorly speed up fat loss process for many overweight people, if they can control their hunger that is.

Hey i wanna know whats a good way to cut my fat percentage. I work swing shifts which means i work all shifts in one month. So my body is never at normal. I was wondering how do i keep goin at full energy without having to result to junk food??
It’s not hard but it does take effort. 1. Take your lunch to work. 2. Low fat milks and cheeses. 3. More chix & fish instead of read meats. 4. Lots of fruit. 5. Whole grain breads, cereals, rice, pastas, etc. 6. No colas or sweetened drinks. 7. Brings snacks as well. It just takes planning & effort.

Starting today,..i shall follow your instructions,…you have inspired me to lose weight,..and given me hope,..but just one question,..what can i substitute water with? i really try drinking it,..but since i seldom ever had,..i cant seem to get use to the taste,..any advice? Gatorade good?
You can drink any fluid as long as it’s diet or not high in calories.
