Strength Training Workouts Using Chains

Working out with chains helps to improve acceleration and strength. I highly recommend working out with chains and bands to improve strength gains dramatically. All rights belong to original musical owners.

hi, what are the benefits of a workout with chains?

  • hateugive

Accomodating resistance as each link is lifted from da ground the weight gets heavier. Each person’s strength curve is different, someones sticking point may be 2in from lock out another 2in from chest. chains help you with your weak spots. also overload the muscles. when suspended with plates it strengthens stablizers. thats it without getting too scientific.

your all tiny…why the fuck would any body do this//??…. if u wanna get big how bout watchin wat he ibg dudes do and copy. FUCKIN IDIOTS

  • neatfreeek

i understand why they do it, good stuff guys, but god damn that would have to be a pain in the ass setin them up evertime you lift somethng,

  • chi7decathlete

Think about what you just said. Why are big dudes big? It is highly related to genetics. If you are a little guy and do what the ‘big guys’ do, you won’t get big, unless you take performance enhancers. Then you can do isolation exercises and get big, but not until then. If you are a little guy and lift with chains, you will get strong, and strength rarely correlates with size.

  • klab555

yeah it corrilates with u being a fuckin retard

  • chi7decathlete

it sounds like you are a little guy doing big boy work-outs and not getting results… don’t cry annie

  • klab555

hahahah ya. if 6 foot 225 11% bf is little…. hahah pussies…. hop on the juice alrede you tiny tims

The chains and bands helped out a lot. I’m no body builder nor do i want to be one. We are mainly athletes and sport coaches. We just want to improve our client’s sports performance and strength. The chains and bands have shown great results! Seriously, if you haven’t tried using chains and bands then you’re missing out on the results they can put on.

The chains are pointless. Weigh the chains…if for example the chains each weigh 10lbs., putting 10lbs. plates on each side instead will have the same effect. I really hope people with common sense can figure this out. It’d be another thing if they were bands hooked to the ground and you were pulling a bar up with that resistence. Otherwise, you just look stupid doing this chain nonsense.

  • SilentWeazel

Haha! That was hilarious! You guys can’t even perform a squat properly, let alone use the chains properly!!

  • shok2death

all i can say is bad form

  • royston123

Heading for a bad injury boys.
The principal is sound, but some of you look like you are using to much weight.

  • knewok

    im impressed
but hes right, improve your form and you will improve your strength and definition

  • StrengthCond101

Where to start?! Strength and definition are definately not related. Training with chains is not aimed at improving size and therefore adding a 10kg plate is completely different.
Correct; these guys technique and general use of the chains is shocking. Training with chains is aimed at improving 2 areas:
1- improve proprioception through improved motor unit firing frequency and improved joint stablility as a result.

  • StrengthCond101

2- to increase the number of motor units recruited with the aim of improving strength. Mainly of the stabilising muscles. However little research has investigated the later claim.

    wats this song called

  • terrorwitha9mm

i agree. this kinda workout is great for strength training but you must have correct form and weight you can control or you’ll be all over the place with form and it will end in a injury. try dropping a few lbs and using a slower rep but increase the rep and use better form and get back to me and tell me your results ;)

  • tmills572

Pretty good vid. chains are great for strength. the benchers could atleast try to keep their asses on the bench tho. ive seen better benching form from football players.

  • hateugive

Yea, the bench weight was heavy for the fellow so he shorted the distance from the bar to his chest by arching his back. Power lifters use this technique but it is Bad form:( also, the bar shifting on the suspended plate bench press was just an exaggeration so show a weak shoulder girdle. Definitely gonna work on this video and the form. Thx!

  • GunMetalJeep45

good video but like everyone has been saying the form is somewhat terrible

  • gangster666shamrock

haha you can also put more weights on!!!! in staid of those fucking chains what an mongol
