Yea, the bench weight was heavy for the fellow so he shorted the distance from the bar to his chest by arching his back. Power lifters use this technique but it is Bad form:( also, the bar shifting on the suspended plate bench press was just an exaggeration so show a weak shoulder girdle. Definitely gonna work on this video and the form. Thx!

Pretty good vid. chains are great for strength. the benchers could atleast try to keep their asses on the bench tho. ive seen better benching form from football players.

i agree. this kinda workout is great for strength training but you must have correct form and weight you can control or you'll be all over the place with form and it will end in a injury. try dropping a few lbs and using a slower rep but increase the rep and use better form and get back to me and tell me your results ;)

2- to increase the number of motor units recruited with the aim of improving strength. Mainly of the stabilising muscles. However little research has investigated the later claim.

Where to start?! Strength and definition are definately not related. Training with chains is not aimed at improving size and therefore adding a 10kg plate is completely different.
Correct; these guys technique and general use of the chains is shocking. Training with chains is aimed at improving 2 areas:
1- improve proprioception through improved motor unit firing frequency and improved joint stablility as a result.
